On June 12, 2021, a girl named Sayli Singh found a man named Baboolnath Dattatray Kalambe, who was 60 years old and had been exposed to heavy rain for three days without any shelter. Sayli, accompanied by a social worker, approached the Smit Foundation for assistance. The foundation conducted police verification, provided medical care, created a safe and comfortable environment, and offered nutritious food to Baboolnath. As a result, he recovered quickly. Baboolnath is disabled in his right leg and requires empowerment.

The foundation appeals for support and encourages people to visit and volunteer. They also provide a Google Maps location link for reference. Additionally, they state that they come under 80G and 12A for tax rebates and comply with all government regulations.
